Useful intelligence retains purpose, source provenance, confidence and a lawful escalation route.

Who this helps

Built around a buying situation.

  • Security, fraud and risk owners
  • Organisations exposed to impersonation or brand abuse
  • Decision makers needing lawful digital exposure intelligence

Useful when

The trigger is already visible.

  • Internet-facing assets and identities are not fully mapped
  • Impersonation or suspicious digital signals need corroboration
  • Open-source findings lack provenance, confidence or a lawful escalation route

The position

Collect less. Corroborate better. Act lawfully.

Pegasus begins with an authorised intelligence requirement and a defined decision. Collection is limited to relevant, lawfully accessible sources; findings retain provenance, confidence and limitations; and personal information is handled against an identified lawful purpose rather than gathered simply because it is public.

01

A defined scope and accountable decision owners

02

Controls matched to the real operating context

03

Evidence that can be reviewed, tested and improved

Scope

What the work includes.

Every engagement is scoped around authority, operating context, available evidence and the decision that must be made.

01

Intelligence requirement and lawful purpose

Define the protected assets, threat questions, lawful purpose, source classes, exclusions, retention and decision thresholds.

02

Collection, corroboration and provenance

Map digital exposure and collect relevant signals with source provenance, timestamping, confidence assessment and human corroboration.

03

Risk-led reporting and escalation

Translate evidence into proportionate technical, platform, legal, reporting or monitoring actions owned by named decision makers.

Method

A controlled route from exposure to evidence.

Decision points, responsibilities and verification stay visible from the start.

01

Discover

Define the exposure, context, evidence, owners and decision that matters.

02

Design

Select proportionate controls and make responsibilities and hold points visible.

03

Implement

Embed the agreed system into the real operating workflow.

04

Verify

Test whether controls work and whether the evidence supports the conclusion.

05

Improve

Close actions, learn from exceptions and strengthen the system over time.

Outputs

Evidence designed for use.

Defined intelligence requirement and collection boundary

Digital exposure and relationship map

Source, confidence and evidence register

Prioritised escalation and control recommendations

Professional boundaries

Precision includes saying what the work does not claim.

Questions answered

Before you scope the work.

Does public information have no privacy restrictions?

No. Public availability does not remove data-protection, confidentiality, necessity or proportionality considerations. Purpose and handling are scoped before collection.

Will Pegasus contact a suspected actor?

Not by default. Contact, takedown or investigative escalation needs verified authority, evidence preservation and an agreed legal, platform or law-enforcement route.

Does OSINT include unauthorised access?

No. Pegasus does not bypass access controls, use stolen credentials or disguise intrusion as open-source research.

Start the conversation

Bring the exposure. Leave with a controlled route forward.

A first conversation is used to understand context, authority and the decision required—not to force a predetermined package.
